2018 FIFA World Cup Opening Ceremony

The opening ceremony of the 2018 FIFA World Cup will take place on Thursday, 14 June 2018, at the historic Luzhniki Stadium in Moscow half an hour before the opening match of the tournament between hosts Russia and Saudi Arabia. The theme of the opening ceremony is celebrating football and the spirit of the host nation.

The ceremony will feature Robbie Williams a global music icon along with Russian soprano Aida Garifullina for the musical part of the ceremony. Two times FIFA World Cup Brazilian champion Ronaldo will be also in the spotlight during the event.
